Our Contributions

The ‘Crown Community’ working group aims to ensure that corporate social responsibility achieves the right deliverables in supporting local charities and the wider community. We acknowledge employees who partake in volunteering activities and contribute to charities that are close to their heart and serve their local communities.

Reaching Out To The Community

The ‘Crown Community’ working group aims to ensure that corporate social responsibility achieves the right deliverables in supporting local charities and the wider community. We acknowledge employees who partake in volunteering activities and contribute to charities that are close to their heart and serve their local communities.

Below are some examples of our employees who are reaching out in their local communities:
  • Christine volunteers her time befriending elderly and/or isolated adults through her local community organisation.
  • Kerilee contributes to her local community by donating to a food bank, helping those in need.
  • Tracy, founder of the DT38 Foundation established in her son’s memory, raises awareness through the education of early detection and treatment of testicular cancer. 
  • Lisa volunteers her time assisting mums who may be struggling to get back on their feet through her local community organisation.
Environment

Environment

Crown London Aspinalls aims to improve our environmental footprint. As a business, we make every effort to proactively recycle or minimise waste wherever possible.
 
To reduce our energy consumption and carbon footprint, Crown London Aspinalls has introduced energy efficient LED lighting throughout the Club.  LED lights are up to 80% more efficient than traditional lighting such as fluorescent and incandescent lights. Currently 90% of the Club uses LED lighting.

To complement the above initiatives, we also encourage our employees to engage with the UK Government’s Cycle Scheme and offer payment plan options for seasonal rail tickets.
DT38 Foundation

DT38 Foundation

The DT38 Foundation was established in memory of Dylan James Tombides.
 
Dylan was an Australian International and West Ham United professional football player who passed away at age 20, in April 2014 after a three-year battle with testicular cancer. West Ham thought so highly of Dylan that they retired his number 38 and made DT38 one of their principal charities.

Crown London Aspinalls has proudly supported DT38 in various charity events.
